The Company

They have rapidly built an impressive list of clients, by providing simple, fast access to capital, combined with invaluable people expertise across multiple business functions, to further help its customers achieve their strategy for growth/success.

The role

As Head of Operations, you will be positioned at the core of the business and work with key departments to help solve issues and create effective, scalable solutions. Working directly with the MD, you will be responsible for establishing and developing operations across the whole company.

Key tasks & Responsibilities

·Process improvement is important to enable the company to scale, and therefore a key task will be to build & develop operational processes in order to improve both productivity & customer experience

·This will involve complex analysis, task mapping & process redesign

·To achieve this, you will manage, and develop an exceptional team, working closely with the MD to grow these key areas of the business

·You will also support in developing the strategic direction for the business, ensuring operational OKRs are in place to help us achieve our vision

?You will lead & execute (end to end) core projects

?Exploring & define which projects the team should prioritise, setting timelines to achieve requisite goals

?Product improvement: proactively search for new features to provide a seamless customer experience

Your Skills, Knowledge & Experience

·4 + years of relevant experience in B2B start-ups, ideally as a Head of Ops/VP Ops in a high growth phase at series A or later. [1]

·You have a solid track record of achievement - e.g. worked in a leading tech company and/or startup, have quickly assumed responsibilities

·You can break complex problems into smaller ones and enjoy working with data to facilitate your work using tools such as SQL, Python and Excel

·You will be able to clearly demonstrate experience of running & improving a variety of various operational functions, ideally within a high-growth B2B start-up environment

·You will have been responsible for daily operational KPIs and P&L management.

·We are open to both a generalist or an individual who has detailed experience within one or two specific operational areas

·How you work is as important to my client

·Preferably you’ll have the knowledge, experience and be an advocate for iterative lean start-up process standards

·You will also understand the importance of analytics and will be able to apply the data systematically

·You will have developed strong leadership skills, knowing how to get the best out of your team.
