About the Role

  • This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing company on the South coast
  • We are specifically seeking an Engineering Project Manager with relevant industry experience to contribute to the development of their products.


  • To take ownership of products and manage full product life-cycle, including product definition, performance requirements, features, release dates and maintenance
  • To bridge between engineering and sales teams to ensure alignment and aid in securing design wins
  • To engage with customers and standards organisations to develop market requirements
  • Ensuring market requirements are translated effectively into engineering product requirements
  • To contribute to the development of our technical road-map and strategy in the light of these requirements
  • To lead on the architecture of new products and features, as well as of new releases of existing products

 Qualifications and Experience


  • Deep understanding of commercial and technical drivers and challenges, developed through industry experience
  • University degree (or equivalent qualification) in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science
  • Broad experience in a technical sales or marketing role
  • Experience writing business plans and commercial justifications


  • Strong engineering background in digital communications with understanding of the semiconductor and FPGA landscape
  • In-depth knowledge of electronic systems design, including hardware and software especially within a communications or networking environment
  • Solid understanding of SoC, FPGA design, system interconnects and bus architectures
  • Knowledge of EDA flows for implementation, system and software development
  • Product management experience in the communications industry
