Position: Chief of Staff

Overview

• Our client is a dynamic high growth technology venture capital & finance company, investing from day one through to Series A, focusing primarily on applied AI, marketplaces and e-commerce.

• As they embark on their exciting next phase of growth, we are looking to identify a talented Chief of Staff, to work closely with the CEO, where your role will provide you with unparalleled exposure to early-stage businesses, their people and their journey.

The Role

• You will play a key role in operationalising the strategy, ensuring objectives are well structured, creating the infrastructure to ensure processes runs smoothly
• Support our CEO in driving forward a mission driven business
• Liaise with the portfolio companies on behalf of CEO
• Take ownership, develop & drive the company Diversity/Sustainability policies & culture
• Develop internal & external processes taking OKRs and KPIs to the next level
• Steer/lead sizeable, cross-functional projects, building consensus with senior leadership across the organisation
• Building, maintaining & communicating detailed reporting models
• Supporting/deciding the Board pack delivery, preparing the outline, collating key information and sharing with CEO for review
• Implementing a best practice knowledge management process across the group
• Create and implement an investor relations programme

About you

• You will have a background in strategy consultancy
• Experience working with start-up/early stage companies
• You have experience managing multiple high impact projects
• You’re organised & conscientious by nature
• You have strong programme/project management skills
• You’re curious/driven able to bring new ideas, perspectives and a bucket of enthusiasm
• You communicate in a clear, engaging and concise way
• Able to demonstrate High EQ
